There are many ways to get
involved with the South Beach AIDS Project, Inc. Whether
you are interested in participating in outreach activities
and special events or providing administrative or
professional assistance, your support is essential
to our continued success.
EDUCATION AND PREVENTION
Volunteers distribute safer-sex materials and
information at bars and dance clubs. They staff
literature tables at street fairs, special
events and other locations.
OUTREACH
Volunteers help staff support groups and speak
before varied audiences in the community on issues
with which they have some expertise.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Volunteers provide general
administrative support, including answering phones,
photocopying, data entry, stuffing envelopes, filing,
scheduling, errands, reception work and putting
together information packets. |

SPECIAL
SKILLS
SoBAP works with volunteers with special skills to develop
projects that fit particular interests and skills. Projects
may include using legal, medical, mental health, publishing,
graphic design, information technology, or other professional
skills. Tell us what your special skills are and how you
think they might be put to use to further our core services
of Outreach, Prevention and Education!
